Virtual Paintout is a blog/facebook site that i started to contribute to.
Using GoogleMaps Streetview an artist can sketch anywhere in the world. A location is given on the first of the month and one can send up to three works to be added to the blog and on Facebook. A fun (and ingenious) way of sketching a vast array of subject. Some people do full complete paintings.. i just do quick 45-60 minute sketches... so far ink with watercolour on Yupo.
February was San Francisco Bay Area so, naturally, Ferrari of San Francisco fit the bill...
I will throw in the previous month here as well... Corsica.

All of your work is beautiful, Grant. I love the illustrative watercolor mix.
I participated in the SF Virtual, and loved it. But do I have to admit to spending the entire day on Google Earth SF? ;-D
